Whether in bed or a chair, shift your weight at least every 2 hours to relieve pressure.

✅ Use Pressure-Relieving Cushions or Mattresses

Special cushions and mattresses help reduce friction and pressure on vulnerable areas.

✅ Check Skin Daily

Look for redness, warmth, or broken skin—especially on bony areas like heels, hips, elbows, and the lower back.
